The Tandym Group is Hiring an IT Project Manager (Hybrid) Near New York, NY
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
The IT Project Manager will:
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Develop detailed project plans, including schedules, resource allocation, and budgets
- Build and lead cross-functional project teams
- Provide guidance and motivation to team members and stakeholders
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Proactively address issues to keep projects on track
- Maintain clear and concise communication with project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, and external partners
- Provide regular project updates and reports
- Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with business goals
- Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to keep projects within budget
- Perform other duties, as needed
- 4 years of experience in IT Project Management
- Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies, tools, and best practices
- Proficiency in Project Management software such as Microsoft Project, Jira or others to effectively plan, monitor, and control project activities
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum frameworks to manage iterative and incremental development processes
- Solid understanding of IT Infrastructure components, including networks, servers, and databases
- Proficiency in Database Management systems (e.g., SQL,) and Database Design principles
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Previous experience with the Healthcare industry
- Certification for a PM Methodology (PMP)
